- Would the composition be appealing if reduced to Three Values?
- Is there a Focal Point?
- Does the composition obey the Rule of Thirds?
- Does the Color Saturation compliment the focal point?
- Does Directional Force compliment the focal point?
- Are you using Blurred Edges and Sharp Edges to enhance focal point?
- Does Value Contrast accent the focal point?
- Did you make use of busy and graceful patterns to inhance the focal point?
- Do Complimentary Colors accent the focal point?
- Did you avoid Repetition.
- Does your painting have Darkest Darks and Highlights?
- Did you exaggerate or create Lost Edges to create a Path For the Eye?
- Did you Simplify the image, leaving out unnecessary details, for efficient composition?
- Does the painting have a Father and Mother colors for shadows and highlights?
- Did you add Temperature Variation especially on big shapes?
